You can create live maps that reflect the location and layout of your resources to display real-time information about your resources' utilization. Any image can be used as a base with resource locations overlaid through our easy-to-use in application map editing tool.

Creating a Live Map

  1. In the site where the resource(s) in question are located, in the left-hand column click on Administration.

  2. From the Administration page, click on Reports in the left-hand column, then Live Maps from the drop-down column.

  3. In the top right-hand corner, click on Create Map.

  4. On the right-hand side of the page, you can customize the Resource Map Name by clicking on the pencil (by default, new maps are called New Resource Map).

  5. On the right-hand side of the page, click on Choose File to upload an image of your resource map. Only .jpeg or .png files are supported. After selecting the image, your map should appear in the middle of the page.

  6. On the right-hand side of the page, click on Add Resource Region to start reflecting where your resources are located.

  7. On the right-hand side of the page, select a resource in this site from the drop-down menu. On the map, reflect the location of the resource by clicking on the points representing its outer boundaries. A minimum of 3 points must be designated. For example, to depict a rectangular meeting room in a larger office space, click on the points representing the 4 corners of the room.
